ANT 101 The Human Condition: Introduction to Anthropology (A,D,W)

Provides basic knowledge of human beings from the broad and comparative perspective of anthropology. Students are introduced to the different subfields of biological, archaeological, cultural, and linguistic anthropology. Provides opportunities to develop intercultural competence through cross cultural and evolutionary knowledge of human variation, allowing students to gain a better understanding of the dynamic interplay between humans and their environments. 3 Cr.
