Description
The criminal justice minor is for students interested in studying the prevention and control of crime, as well as the theories and policies relative to the structure and operation of various law enforcement (policing), correctional and judicial organizations. The criminal justice minor introduces the students to sub-areas of criminal justice fields (police, courts, and corrections) and contemporary issues in criminal justice system. Students have various elective course choices serving to augment their particular interests and career focus.
Admission to the Program
Any undergraduate student can declare this minor.
Program Requirements
An academic minor in criminal justice requires the student to complete at least 18 credits of course work in the field as specified. At least nine credits must be taken at Brockport.
