Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements

  1. See the Matriculation Requirement as noted on the Degree Requirements page.
  2. Complete a minimum of 120 credits of coursework, with a minimum grade point average of 2.0.
    • No more than 54 of these credits may be in any one discipline.
    • At least 48 credits must be in upper-division (300/400-level) courses.
    • At least 90 credits in liberal arts courses. (Designated with "A" in the course listing.)
  3. Complete all requirements of at least one undergraduate major course of study suitable to the BA degree. See the list of programs. The major requirements must include have at least 12 credits in upper-division courses.
  4. Complete all requirements of the College's undergraduate General Education program.
  5. Demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language equivalent to Brockport's 212-level. The College recommends that new students schedule placement testing as soon as possible after enrollment.

The Bachelor of Arts Degree through the Delta College Program

  1. Completion of a minimum of 99 credits with a grade point average of 2.0 in each component of the program and overall, meeting the Delta College Program requirements and the requirements of a Brockport major or contractual liberal arts major.
    1. Delta College Core courses
    2. A Brockport major program
    3. Delta College’s Experiential Learning Practicum courses and Delta Capstone
    4. Foreign language (intermediate level), computer, and statistics competencies
  2. Completion of 48 credits in upper-division (300/400-level) courses.
  3. Completion of a minimum of 90 credits in liberal arts courses.
